I’m sure you’ve heard about it before and maybe even have your own routine established. The way you start your day plays a significant role in how your entire day is going to go.

Picture this..remember that time you woke up late because you snoozed 3 times? You jump out of bed, rush to pour a cup of coffee to help wake you up, and make a mess because your cup overflowed while you were checking your emails on your phone with your other hand.

You halfway clean it up, finish getting ready, and head out the door, only to get stuck in the worst traffic ever. And then when you arrive to work, there’s no parking spots at all.

It seems as if every move you make continues to delay the start to your day. You’re rushed, feeling highly anxious, and are now supposed to perform your best.

Wow. You should’ve just stayed in bed today and called in sick right?

We’ve all had those types of mornings at some point in time. There is a way you can help to prevent them.

Establishing a morning routine helps set you up for success. It gives you time to be with yourself. Focus on your day. Do the things you enjoy most. And puts you in a position where you are in control of the day, not the other way around.

I know what you’re saying…I don’t have time..I’ve got to do this and this and that. Or I want to sleep as long as possible because I went to bed late.
